Any ideas on what is wrong with my cat's eye? It is losing hair, and it is both eyes.

(Taking her to the vet as soon as I can get an appointment.)

-No tearing or itching or redness.

That is MOST unusual, and NO, I've never seen anything like it
.  I'd be scheduling that appointment sooner than later.

Weird.........

Hello,

Can I ask how your cat is doing? Did you go to the vet? I hope all is well.

A couple of days ago I noticed something very similar on my cat's eyelid. Only one effected, and no other symptoms, it just looks like hair loss there. I am guessing it will mean a trip to the vet, but any feedback/insight would be appreciated.

My RB kitty would get this when her allergies were bad.  She would rub the hair off because her eyes were itchy.

She had airborne allergies/seasonal allergies.  We took her to the vet to check her eye and usually got some drops and an eye lubricant.  We started giving her a daily antihistamine and the combination helped stop the itchies.

Now over a year later, but I just wanted to update this in case it happens to anyone and they are wondering how this resolved: the vet had a "wait and see" attitude, her hair grew back after about a week, and this has never happened again since, nor did it spread to my other cats. Remains a mystery lol.

Thanks for the update.  sometimes things like this ARE a mystery, just like with human medical conditions.  At least it resolved itself
