Is she high preg, on the verge for delivery?  They often stop eating shortly before delivery. Not all, not even most, but common enough.   But if there are other alarming signs, contact your vet.

Her being petite and  young, makes her margins are smaller than usual.   With some luck, it MAY go well and happily, but you must be vigilant for problems.  Also, its not unusual very young mothers dont understand in the beginning what is happening.  So you must be there prepared to help her with opening up the sacks, cutting off the cords (use dental floss cord / teeth cord for humans, or even your own fingernails, dont use sharp scissors).

But with any luck, her mothernal instincts will kick on soon.

Be also sure to weigh the kittens every day - partly by the same reason, so you know if they gets enough with milk, and if you must step in.

Come with reports and more questions, anywhere you need!

Good luck!

Thank you for the information and good wishes. Unfortunately Pepper's condition worsened with lack of muscle control and tremors. My friend found a vet that would see her(God Bless you Dr. Stacey Swaney) and she was put down peacefully. She was not pregnant, but the vet couldn't tell if the fluid was from a burst bladder or infection...i feel like an idiot, have had cats for over 40 years..how did i miss the early signs?? I don't even know what i should have looked for,

Ouch, how horrible.  Sometimes the changes in life can go very quickly.   Its alike the swedish proverb "humans try to predict, but its God who decides".

RIP  little one.
