Hi everyone

how is everyone doing. I am still in the second month of being with a pet, my sandy is 11 weeks of age. He had gotten sick twice already but is ok now.

And he eats almost everything. In a sense its good, but I am wondering

1 - Is there anything which we should avoid feeding hime?

2 - Is there anything we should avoid feeding him too much?

3 - Anything else anyone want to add about not feeding

Catinfo.org would be the most comprehensive food site for you to peruse, written by a vet who specializes in feline nutrition for many years now.

There are some useful articles in the nutrition section of the TCS articles, and threads about things which can be harmful to your cat.   Here are a couple of links for you as a starter:

http://www.thecatsite.com/a/common-foods-that-are-harmful-to-cats

http://www.thecatsite.com/a/can-i-feed-my-cat-a-fish-based-or-fish-flavored-diet

Sandy is still very young and may not have spent long with his mother learning about cat things and building up his immune system from feeding on her milk.  He will be growing very quickly now, and continue to do so for at least the coming year so good nutrition is very important so you are doing a great thing for Sandy coming and checking things out.  I hope you are having lots of fun with him and that you find he gets less sick as he grows a little more.

1 - Is there anything which we should avoid feeding hime?
Some people food are harmful, even toxic, to cats. Some things to avoid: grapes, chocolate, garlic in any form, onions in any form, cooked bones. A more comprehensnive list can be found at https://www.aspca.org/pet-care/animal-poison-control/people-foods-avoid-feeding-your-pets

And try to keep non-edible items away from the cat. Some cats will eat anything they can get their mouths around. Electical cords, household cleaners, safety pins, ribbon/string, dust bunnies, bottle caps, etc.

2 - Is there anything we should avoid feeding him too much?
Treats of any kind should be give in moderation, no more than 10% of the diet. Too much of anything in general can cause an upset tummy.

3 - Anything else anyone want to add about not feeding
Dry food but that's a pretty touchy subject here on TCS. You can read Catinfo.org for more info on the proper diet to feed your cat.

If you have household plants, try to keep them away from the cat. Some plants are toxic to cats. Here's a list: https://www.aspca.org/pet-care/animal-poison-control/toxic-and-non-toxic-plants

No avocado even though they like it. There's a poison in the skin that can see into the avocado.
