Any one any idea's why our 7 month old kitten Clyde likes to sit in warm water?

He has always been interested in dripping taps and sitting in the washing up bowl but 3 times now he has sat in it whilst it has been full of warm water....

He then proceeds to drip all over the floor and resists all attempts to towel him dry - instead he wanders off and dries himself before heading back and seeing if he can do it again

this is him in the bowl after it has been emptied !

Lol!!
There are some cat breeds that love water. What kind of cat is he, do you know?

That said, you have a hand up on any potential bath time issues!!

Hi MisterWiskers - Our Clyde is a DSH - but he must have some water loving genes in there - our other cat Bonnie hates water with a passion and the look on her face when he has been in the water is priceless ! :)

That's cute. Some kitties just like water, the savannahs are most famous for that. Getting them to take a bath can still prove difficult though..
