I have chicken and duck/salmon in my rotation. They seems to be good food, very dense (I add water), but our cats don't like them as much as Nature's Variety.
I bought a case of NL's rabbit, my two cats liked it but not consistently, especially after refrigerating it (vs with NV's Pride they would eat it cold). I wanted them to like it more BC I like NL's "transparency" with their products (on Truth About Pet Food, only NL and Primal signed the transparency pledge to customers, as far as cat food). I wasn't crazy about the cottage cheese in the food though and cooked eggs, my little guy may be sensitive to. Anyway, hope it works out for your kitties, they are a good company with mostly good ingredients (although my preference for cats is simple, meat only ingredients). Good luck.
I was wondering about the cottage cheese as well. Why cottage cheese? I thought most cats were lactose intolerant? Otherwise, it sounds like something I would try.
I just tried the Duck and salmon. I rarely feed fish but I found the at the store. The texture reminds of NV Instinct. My cats ate it. I will wait to see if they like it again. I would like to try the chicken or rabbit. The rabbit is too pricey for me.
