Ow Ow Ow OW OW!!!

So my kitten  and a kneading need. She needs to knead, she does so on every surface she is on. I know that is normal. But the thing is her favorite spot is on my thighs and around my shoulder and on my chest, she even does it to my face, and her claws are sharp. is there a way to...well..stop her with out any discipline?

Just put her down.  That's about it.  Again, the Soft Paws would help with this also.  I suggest looking into them.  You can get them at Petco, PetSmart, etc.

I thought you meant sens her to rainbow bridge when you suggested putting her v for down! Phew what a relief. :-)

Decide on a list of where she's allowed to knead and where she isn't. Every time she starts on a spot that's off limits, gently lift her and put her on the floor. Repeat as needed. If she persists too many times in a row, give her a short time out. And yeah, you can use the Soft Paws product to help during training.

Can you clip her nails?

I have a five year old kitty who's never got out of the habit of kneading.  I keep her nails clipped, which helps, but also I have a little blanket that I put on my lap when I see her coming.  That way she can knead away on the blanket and it doesn't hurt.  

Thank you all for your advice, I am ordering the soft paws today off amazon. I also got a small blanket to put where she needs to needs to knead. And I have to call Monday to get her fixed and her vaccinations. Thanks guys.
