Belle - Princess... she has been daddy's princess since day one

Teaka - momma, sweetie

Pippen - pretty boy (he really is; people usually assume he's a girl), bubba, buster

Loki - butthead, turdbucket, monster, knave, bubba, buster, and cuddlebug (the troublemaker is always the momma's boy, eh?).

You may have noticed that bubba and buster are interchangeable between the brothers (Pippen and Loki).  I tried to give one to each, but somehow couldn't stick to it.   lol

 Knuckle brains!

Yes his name is Leo but when he does not get his way he runs over to the corner of

this wool rug and proceeds to scratch it at one hundred miles an hour and then just stops abruptly and

stands

there with a glare that says  LOOK what I did to your rug!

He does have a nice upright 3 foot tall.. cat scratcher post  which if  I spray liquid catnip on it once a day

it saves the furniture..

Clyde is just Clyde - or sometimes he gets 'Nooooooo Clyde' when he is about to get in the bath with me..... (see kittens and water thread!) - or Clyde you pest when he pounces on Bonnie when she is cleaning...... he is the total opposite of her and into everything unless he is asleep

Bonnie is Boo Boo or just Boo for short - no idea why just seems to have stuck - but she answers (well looks at you) when you call any of the names - she is my shy sweet girl

Peach Pie, Sneezl weasel when she sneezes, poopy butt, baby cat and follow cat.  Zoe is Zoe Bear because  when she was younger she would stand up on her hind legs and beg for treats and looked like a bear
which lead to are you any relation to Gustave Floubare (I read Madame Bovary in college years ago and I forget how to spell his name!)  So I'd ask Zoe, are you really the one who wrote Madame Bovary?

Aya is called "Little One". I think my mom gave her that moniker when she first came to live with us because she is so delicately boned and we had an already resident cat with a much larger frame. funny thing was while they were both in good health (Midori went to the rainbow bridge last Feb.) they weighed within a pound of each other.

Aya has also been known as the "Wonder Whizzer" I think the naughty behavior that inspired this one is obvious.

Her name is Sabbath and doesn't have a nickname but I am almost positive she thinks her nick name is " Hey don't eat that!" or " Get down from there!"

Beans: "Beanie-Weenie", "Beaner the Weaner", and "Stinky-Butt". The latter is only used when she fails to properly clean her hind end.

Oksana: Usually "Sanni", as Oksana can be mouthful. I also have called her "Sanni the Wanni" at times. Also "Scaredy-Butt" as she's terrified of the silliest things...

Dublin has a lot.

Rub-A-Dub

Rub-A-Dub-Dub-My-Dub-In-The-Tub (he likes to be in the bathtub)

Sink Kitty (he likes to hang out in sinks)

Bubbadoo  & Bubby - just because

Dubby, Dub, the Dubster (this last one by some of my friends; all because of his name)

Snuggle puss (he's a huge snuggler)

Smiley Guy (he has a very smiley face)

& then sometimes just other ones pop up. He responds to all of them. :)

Puck, my cat that passed away last year, lived simply. He was The Puck, Mr. Bad Cat, or Mr. Bad Puck, or The Bad Grey Cat. He was named for the character in A Midsummer Night's Dream.

My kittens run a bit more baroque.

The full name and styling for Claude is Her High Mightiness, President of Puck Cottage and Defender of Its Liberties, Claude Castiel de la Nuit, the Dread of the World. She also goes by Madam President, President Icecat, Baby Girl and The Claudelet. The family that adopted her to us believed she was a boy and called her Castiel, which we honored as her middle name. She and her parents are black cats. Her parents were named Raven and Lestat, from which we ~determined~ (:lol3:) that she was French and that her ~proper~ (:lol3::lol3:) breed distinction was Gothic Short Hair. She's smart, proactive, high strung and has a pretty hilariously indignant manner about her. President Icecat is always at DEFCON-3. She was named (while we thought she was a boy) Claude after Philadelphia Flyers captain Claude Giroux.

Gus's full name and styling is Carl Gustav Henrik af Natten, Hertig af Götes. He also goes by Your Grace, Baby Boy, and GusGus. He came to us from a rescue, where he was addressed only as Duke. It was immediately apparent to us that this was not his name, but instead his title. Further, he is also a black cat and also (as you have perhaps surmised from his title) a Gothic Short Hair. He is funny, loving, laid back and stylish. His Grace is happiest when eating or snuggling. He was named for Detroit Red Wings forward Gustav Nyquist, with a deeply affectionate nod to the captain, Henrik Zetterberg. President Icecat is unimpressed with him, and will only refer to him as Carl.

All my cats have nicknames.

Catweazle is Weasly, Wezeltje (little weasel in Dutch), Watje (wuss) or Katje-watje-wezel (cat-wuss-Weasel)

Tosca is Spinnekopje (double meaning, literally it means purry-head, but it is a term also used for a spunky or bitchy girl)

Xena is the warrior princess (for obvious reasons, she was called Xena because she is such a fighting little bitch), but we also call her Miss Bosch, after the brand of our dishwasher, as she always wants to wash the dishes, even before we have finished eating... She is also called Xena-baby, because she still wants to trample and suckle on my shoulder, just like when she was a little kitten.

Romeo is Puss in Boots, or Mr Boots, blondie, or gorgeous

Connor is Highlander, MacLeod or Mr Bulls Eye (because of the bulls eye on his flanks)

Wobbel is nicknamed guppy, because when he meows, he opens his mouth, but no sound comes out

Mowgli has only just joined us, but he is Mr Tux, because he looks so distinguished in his shiny tuxedo fur.

My rainbow cats' nicknames:

Steffie was the Princess

Tuppence was tiger or tigger, or Tupsy-flupsy

Jiskefet was a nickname in itself, really, as it means dustbin in Frisian, but we called him every equivalent of the words dustbin or hoover in just about every language we know ,and I often called him Jissy for short

Spetter was the Italian stallion, because he was a small, almost diminutive cat, but very macho and the undisputed alpha cat of the neighoburhood

Precious was Milady, or the deaf diva

Josje was Posh Josje

Ricky was Rikketik (the sound of my heartbeat, because he stole my heart)

Daisy was Sjeesdees (Racing Daisy), a nickname given by her previous owner, because she was such a whirlwind

Gaudi was my baby, or my love bug

Klaatu was Lord Klaatu or the tyrant, because he presumed he was the divine ruler of all humanity and felinity.

I think my cats probably have way too many nicknames...

Charvone's nicknames:
Char-Char-vone: My husband would always call him this in a baby-talk voice when petting him.

Char-Char: derived from the above

Char-Char Binx: My parents gave him this one while babysitting him, due to him having a personality similar to Jar-Jar Binx from the Star Wars Episodes I-III.

Charvoney-vone!: I occasionally sing his name when I'm bored. He actually shows up, too!

Charvonity-vone-vone-vone: This is the longer version of the sing-song name.

Dinglebutt: Very occasionally, Charvone gets "dingleberries" stuck to his rear and I have to wipe him like a human infant, baby wipes and all.

Fatty-Watty: He looks kind of chubby sometimes.

Derpio: When he does something silly or just has a weird vacant look.

Sakura's nicknames:

Saku-Saku-Sakura: The first part of her name repeated, also means "Blooming, Blooming Cherry Blossoms" in Japanese.

Mean Girl/Tortie Kitty: She loves to pick fights with Charvone.

Mike Tyson: One of her favorite moves when play-fighting with Charvone is the "ear-bite."

Yoda: Her ears look like Yoda's ears from behind when they're turned back.

Puss in Boots or just Puss: She looks a lot like Puss-In-Boots from the Shrek movies (except with black stripes too), and she does the cute begging thing he does on his hind legs, big googly eyes and all. "Fear me if you dare!"

Skinny Minnie: She has a long slender body, despite eating Charvone's food all the time.

Derpina: When she does something silly, or she's sitting with her mouth hanging open.

Nicknames interchangeable for both kitties:

Poopy Butts: Neither are very good at cleaning their own butts

Farty Pants: Both can get a little flatulent, and it is always stinky! Also, Charvone looks like he is wearing black baggy sweatpants from the back.

Stinky Booty: Usually after using the litterbox, when they made a big stinky in there.

Jinglebutt: Both wear collars with bells (lets me know if they're getting into trouble on the other side of the house or another room).

Hairy Baby: I changed the words to Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons' song "Sherry Baby". Reserved for when they are being carried on their back like a human baby.
