Wasnt sure where to post this...but I have a nasty stain on my carpet, courtesy of Obi's hairball.  Its orangish brown - I have tried Oxyclean, Nature's Miracle, and patting corn starch into the dampened stain (my stand by)...nothing seems to get it our.  To make it worse, the carpet is a "twist" fiber, so the stain really sits there...any suggestions??

Its a pinky-beige sort of tweed.

I have used resolve with success and even a little bit of bleach when my cat threw up salmon cat food which is unfortunately pink. There's a foam bleach that I used that puts a minimal amount on and I just let it bubble away and it will get the stain out. I tested it in the corner first to make sure it didn't bleach the carpet and it didn't. If you have to use it is test too. My carpet is light beige but its low pile. I'd use the bleach as a last resort but it does work really well on those multi colored stomach contents. Resolve is usually really good but it didn't work on the pink salmon stain I had.

Resolve has never worked for me on that nasty stomach acid stuff.  I can try oxyclean again but I am not optimistic...

Try Seventh Generation carpet cleaner. I usually used an enzyme-based cleaner first to make sure that no smell would remain from the vomit, then the Seventh generation to get rid of the stain.
