Cat's Christmas Gift
Twas the night before Christmas,
and all through the house,
not a creature was stirring,
especially the mouse......
The cat had grabbed him,
and as cats will do,
had quickly dispatched him,
and poor mouse was through!
But cat was relieved,
and really excited,
it was the last gift he needed,
So try to look delighted…
When on Christmas morning,
you open your door,
and cat has left you a present
there on the floor
And with a red bow,
tied fast to that rat,
a tiny green card signed:
"Merry Christmas - the Cat"
