So my kitten has developed some kind of ear infection. I called the vet and the only time available is Friday.

She is not complaining or anything right now.

Do you think it's okay to wait until Friday?

Thanks!

At first I thought ear mites but I don't know if they would go outside of the ear like that.

Looks like she's scratched it too much and created something or it's possible it could be ringworm.

They think it's ringworms. Started the treatment - a shampoo once a day, cream twice a day.

This after the antibiotics is making her fear me when I catch her :(

Looks like my cats ears when her flea allergies are acting up she gets this from scratching. It can wait until Friday this isn't an emergency.

Yeah honestly it doesn't look like anything more than over scratching right in front of her ear. Her fur is still there too so that to me rules out ringworm.

Did they test it? (scraping to look for ringworm)

The OP posted that she took the kitty to the vet on Wed and that the vet thinks it's ringworm and the treatment has begun.

Right, he THINKS is what threw me off. That's why I thought I'd ask if he might just be going by appearance or if tested.

You never can tell with a few vets out there :\...
