kitten changes its behavior.

Hi all,

I usually feed my kitten sardines, from time to time, I treat her to other items. I pet her while she's eating sardines, she is quite and happy with that, the last time, i gave her a chicken bone (after I finished with eating the chicken so it has little chicken meat on it), as I tried to pet her, i noticed she's changed her behavior, she started growing,,, is that normal????? any ideas why????

First please *never* give a cat (or any animal) a cooked bone. They can easily splinter and causing some major internal damage.

To answer your question about her behavior, I simply think she likes the chicken...A LOT! Lol! Totally normal, especially if this is her first time getting it.

Next time, just offer her some plain boiled or baked chicken (no seasoning, no bones) as a treat. That will be perfectly ok.

You're not feeding this as a sole diet are you? Not the question you asked (Cat Pack pretty much answered that) but just curious..
