I switched from Natural Balance LID to Blue  Buffalo  dry food a few months ago because I lost Cricket, who couldn't eat chicken. NOW I keep seeing reviews saying BB is REALLY bad! I free feed the dry and have been feeding them Fancy feast once a day, although NOW I have a new 8 month old kitten, so I feed wet food a few times a day.  IS BB bad?  I'm thinking of feeding them the Natural Balance wet food instead of FF. But have no clue about what dry food to give them now...

Agree with @ankitty

I would feed him an all wet grain free diet.   It's so much healthier.    There are a few articles on this site which you should check out which will explain why.

Blue buffalo is a very good food. I switched to it about a year ago and my cats look and feel better. I like blue buffalo.

I had a HORRIBLE experience with Blue Buffalo!! One cat started throwing up...due days later, two more. I watched the first cat walk over, smell the bowl and gag. I went to the grocery and bought a food for Sensative stomachs (just to get by) and 30 minutes later, everyone was eating and fine. Of course I wrote BB with all the details and they denied everything.

Oliver came to me eating BB and he was in great health on it. His sister also seemed to do well on it from what his owners said. Only reason I never kept up with it was because I switched him to a canned diet and now with several cats to feed and going back to a canned/kibble mix it's out of budget so I don't have it in rotation. Each animal is different though, some will do well on one food while it makes another sick. Imo pretty much every food on the market is crap to get the most profit and ran by crooks. Roll with what you're comfortable with and what your pet does best on. (And will actually eat...) That's a big reason I feed a variety of foods, because none are perfect so I give as many different ones as possible to fill in the gaps. That goes for canned and kibble.
