Hi, I'm a little put off...my cat has had 2 Revolution treatments. I have found 2 dead fleas on him. I have some questions before we see the vet late next week.
There is black gunk on the bed where he sleeps. It looks too big to be flea poop, and too discombobulated to be a flea. Any ideas? I have worming meds to give him but put them off since I didn't notice any tapeworm symptoms around his bottom etc. I was thinking the Revolution killed them . Doesn't kill tapeworm I know.

He does scratch his ears but having had cats with ear mites, I thought I could check for them. A medical q tip came up with nothing.

If I can I will post a pic of the black gunk. I'm a little concerned. He has had weepy eyes but not horribly so, more like sleepers.

Any ideas? Thank you.

When you put the black gunk on a wet paper towel, does the spot turn red? That would indicate flea feces.

Rats. Didn't even try. Threw it right out. But I will check next time. Thanks for the fast answer.

It sure would indicate a lot of fleas... I haven't seen any on him today. And I used a flea comb. But something has been biting me, despite the pest control guy saying it's probably fleas, I am nervous, as I've recently found a couple bed bugs skin casts. Time to buy Precor 2000.
