My cat, Mitu, started sneezing about 2-3 days ago. He sneezes when he sniffs something ( carpet, litter, wet food). He sneezes around 3-4 times a day.
A couple of months ago the same thing happened and we realized that it was from the detergent we were using, as soon as we switched to a non allergic detergent he stoped but this time I do not know what it can be. He is fine otherwise. He eats, plays and pees/poops like he normally does. No discharge from his eyes or nose.
I called the vet ( 2 vets and same price) and they said the allergie test is around 320$, that is very expensive for me right now. I was wondering if there's anything that I can do or check to see what can cause this sneezing.
Thank you and happy holidays.

We paid over 1,000.00 for allergy testing on out guy. Have you tried giving some Llysine to see if that helps? It might do the trick, worth a try I would think.

Check if the nose is dry if the nose of your cat is dry then go to to any shop or the vet and ask if they have any medicine for cats and tell them that the cat has a dry nose and if sneezing hope that helps [emoji]128522[/emoji]

One of my cats, an older male sneezes frequently.  The vet said lots of cats are doing that right now, and just keep an eye on him.  If his nose gets consistently dry and hot, or if he shows any other symptoms, let him know.  Otherwise, consider it a normal reaction.  This has been going on off and on for over two years now, and he seems fine, just as lazy and hungry as ever!

His nose is actually not dry or hot at all, but just the sneezing. Ill keep a eye on him and hopefully he stops the constant sneezing:)

Hi!  I just got from the vet: I got the same problem.  He made him antibiotic shot and said that he had the fever.  So, see the situation by yourself: if he doesn't want to play: like mine and if he is dull, then, may be, go to the vet! Thank you!
