I never really noticed until a couple weeks ago (I looked at pictures of when I got him and he had it then too) my cat has a thin area of purple around his mouth. It's almost unnoticeable. It hasn't really been bothering me because he doesn't seems to be bothered by it at all. He's acting/eating normally. I took him to the vet to get it checked out and he said it could be feline acne or an allergy. But it doesn't look like either. And allergy would have gotten worse by now and he would be irritated and acne is usually accompanied by black specs. Not to mention its purple! Not red. I was wondering if this could be just the color his skin is around his mouth. His fur is white and quite thin around his mouth so maybe it's showing through? I dont know, does any one else have any experience with this situation?
Ps. The picture makes it look worse then it actually is. When I look at it now I can jut barely see it.
