So my cat mutilated a cricket and I stepped on it....

And I didn't have any slippers on! Ew ew ew!
For some reason crickets are getting in to my house. Could be the cold. Well I was watching tv and I noticed she was chewing on something. I got up only to find that she was "mutilating" a cricket. When I turned around to get a paper towel to clean up the mess I stepped on something wet and crunchy. I check and it was yet another mutilated cricket that she possibly caught first. I hopped my way in to the bathroom to wash my foot. Pretty funny though, she actually followed me in to the bathroom and watched me wash my foot. I still cringe just remembering. I dislike bugs. Especially spiders! LOL I've had worse before though. I once stepped on a slug while being BAREFOOT. Moral of the story, always wear shoes or else you'll end up stepping on bugs! Lol

Ewwww!

My cats are always dragging bugs and stuff into the house too. I once found a decapitated lizard that the kitten had tried to bury in his litter box. Yes, keep your shoes on indoors! It's so cold here I've got two pairs of socks and slippers on.

Not the decapitated lizard part, but the part where the kitten tried to have a funeral for it in his litter box LOL

Oh, I just never learn lol I just can't wear shoes/socks at home. It's a bad habit of mine! I'm always barefoot around the house even in the cold lol if I wear slippers or sandals I feel like it annoys me and I end up taking them off

Nice!    When we first moved in here we had crickets.  After those were gone we haven't had any.  I'm not sure how they got in but I'm glad they haven't come back!  Well; they are in the garage, but not inside!

When I was little my mother and I lived in an apartment next to the boiler room for the complex.  We always had crickets getting in.  Our cat, Tinsel, used to bring the legs to my mother while she slept.  I still have memories of finding cricket legs in bed and we lived there from when i was 2 till almost 8 I think.  Mom wasn't ans honored as Tinsel hoped.

Maybe he was trying to have a funeral, I never thought of that. I thought he was just trying to hide the evidence before anyone noticed what he'd done.
