Cat Kennels!

I've just bought Jeepers a cat Kennel, how do I persuade her to use it without traumatising her? I didn't have this problem with Axl so I'm a little unsure of what to do. It's pretty cool, bright red and black padded walls and roof with "let sleeping cats lie" over the door. She will stay in there for ages if I put her in there and doesn't seem in any distress, but she won't go in there of her own free will.

Sprinkle some catnip or a trail of treats leading into there.

Lure her in there with a toy maybe?

Turn it into a fun zone for her (temporarily) Take some pipe cleaners and insert them into the slats so they hang up high and inside the carrier. Take a couple of feather toys and twist them around the ends, so she has dangly things up high to intrigue her. Make sure there is soft bedding in there, and spray the inside with feliway spray. Also start feeding her inside of the carrier- a small bowl of canned food.

She's investigating on her own now, but I will give your suggestions a try to make her feel more at home. Thanks
