$2.59 a gallon this morning when I put gas into Hannah. I put $25 in, which didn't quite fill it up.
OK.. about $6 per US gallon. Or 'a lot' ..@Mani A U.S. gallon is 3.8 liters. A lb. doesn't weigh the same everywhere either. That makes comparisons rather difficult.
That is because of the extra tax that you pay. You also have more in the way of government services and a stronger safety net then the U.S. has. It kind of depends on which end of the economic spectrum your on. People doing well financially hate paying a lot of tax and people who need help do better in a system with those services and strong safety net.I filled up today and It's dropped down a few pence here in the UK
It's now £5.44 ( $8.47 ) a gallon
