Hey everyone :)

I'm from the Netherlands and unfortunately we don't have every brand that is available in the U.S. I have a 8 year old male Siamese/ himalayan mix. He is a kibble addict and refuses to eat only wet food. I do feed him wet food twice a day and give him a little dry food to snack on during the day. I rotate the following wet food: Applaws Pate, Bozita, and Feringa. About 6-7 months ago, I got him a big bag of Applaws Chicken and Salmon which Mew absolutely loved instantly. But I do feel like there are better brands out there. Since Mew is such a kibble addict, I want to make to sure give him the best dry food. I heard Orijen is the best brand, but I wanted to ask for people's opinions :) I also have heard that Purizon and Arcana are also good quality brands. If Orijen is the best brand, then what Orijen would you recommend? On zooplus, I see they have Orijen Chicken Cat & Kitten, Orijen Cat 6 Fish, and Orijen Regional Red Cat. I noticed that the Orijen Regional Red Cat is a lot more expensive than the other two and I'm not sure why or what's different about it. But anyways I would really appreciate your opinions :D

I guess it depends on the cat . Orijen is great quality food but may   not work for all cats ..  I think any of the formulas would be good if your cat likes it ..

I've been feeding Hugo Orijen Cat Kitten since he moved in with me and find it the best I can find around. The other flavours - well.. 6 fish is ... fish mainly which I am hesitant to give and Regional Red boasts of a lot better meat.

For me, it's a matter of budget and reassurance that I get from Orijen outweighs other brands.

My cat loves Orijen, cat and kitten, but unfortunately it makes her bloated and she's gained weight since we switched to it. It's high in calories due to the amount of meat, so just be careful on how much you feed.

I personally really like Orijen because of the ingredients, price, and company behind it, but it just doesn't seem to be the right food for my cat.

Orijen was too rich for my cat. Go with Acana. All three flavors are good. Get trial bags of Orijen and Acana to see which is best.

Hey everyone :D Thank you sooo much for your help and opinions!! It really is worth it for me to pay a little more money to get Mew better quality food. I was thinking about getting Acana , but I saw Orijen had a lot more protein and it was almost the same price. So I bought a bag of Orijen from Zooplus :D Figures crossed that Mew enjoys it. Hopefully I made a good choice.
