I am a bit concerned about my little kitten, who is around 10 weeks old. Over the past few days I have been in the process of switching her over to a raw diet. Things were going very well until yesterday morning, when she didn't seem very interested in her breakfast (the new raw food). As she didn't want to eat it, I set out a can of wet food (which she usually loves), and she ate a few bites but then didn't want any more. I didn't think too much of it and set out some FD raw for her lunch, then went to work. When I came home from work, half of the FD was still there (she had eaten a bit). I then put down some wet food for supper, and again she only ate a few bites than didn't want any more. I also tried a few sardines just to see if she would eat something (again, only a few bites were eaten).
This morning she didn't want her wet food again, nor raw, nor kibble (I tried a few pieces just to see if she would eat them). I'm hoping she eats the FD while I'm gone today, but I am getting concerned as her appetite is not what it usually is.
She is still having normal pees, is plenty active and acting normally. I did catch her last night trying to eat a shoe lace (she had a good few inches down her throat), so now I'm concerned that maybe she ate something she shouldn't have...What are the signs of a blockage?
If she hasn't eaten her food when I get home I will be taking her to the vets for a checkup, but just wanted to get some advice on the situation.
