Im fostering a kitten for my friend, and saturday when i recieved him he had a mild burn on the pad of his paw. Today it peeled, and in an effort to keep it covered/prevent trails of blood in the house my boyfriend and I wrapped it the best we could. We could only manage to get a baby sock secured with vet tape. 6 hours later i removed it only to find my poor baby's paw was 3 times its normal size! Hes been playing and running around as usual, and currently sleeping happily. I can pet the paw without hurting him. I feel like he will be ok but Im nervous due to its size and very upset by the discomfort he mustve been in. Need to know if he'll be ok asap!

He needs to be seen by a vet immediately.  He probably needs an antibiotic and it needs to be check to see if it's abscessed.
