i have had my 8 month old kitten on royal canin special 33 dry cat food for some time now and even tho it's pricey i have to feed it to him because everything else seems to give him loose stools. i was just wondering if there is anything else thats compatible but does the same thing with helping loose stools. i have 4 other cats so it's hard to just feed him one thing and the others something different. thanks jennifer

@Jennifer Grosso  ...Not sure  what brands of kibble are comparable to RC but I have a couple for you to look into ..

My cats are eating Young Again and doing very well on it .. My female has a very sensitive tummy and she has no issues with this food ..  It is grain free and very low carbs , under 5 %..

Another great food is  Petcurean Go ! Fit & Free . Grain Free and low carbs ..  Hope this helps .

You might want to compare the ingredients in the Royal Canin 33 with the foods that your kitten had trouble with. See what's different. Then you have information that will help you find another food he may be able to eat.

i had goos results with special 33, although it is really designed for cats over 1 year old. my only suggestion is to buy the 15 pound bag (if not already doing so) since you have 5 other cats. since special 33 is designed for sensitive digestive systems, look for that in other brands:

 Purina ONE Smartblend Sensitive Systems

Blue Buffalo Sensitive Stomach Formula

Iams Proactive Health Adult Digestive Care
