RIP Mickey

We were only together for 10 weeks but I fell in love with you the moment I saw you. I knew we were meant to be best friends, and we were. Although I thought I was giving you a forever home I think I was there at the right time and right place to adopt you from the rescue center so the last couple of months of your life were full of fun and love and freedom. Sadly you were sick and didn't make it. The last week of your life wasn't so good being stuck at the vet surgery on a drip and full of drugs but I did my best for you. Now you are free and running about with all the other cats that have crossed the bridge, knowing you were loved and cherished.

Bless you for making that precious kitty's last days full of love and comfort, thank you for taking her out of that shelter. I am heartbroken that you didn't get to have her for longer and I hope it doesn't make you afraid to love again. She knew you loved her and I'm sure she loved you with all her heart. Time will help to heal your broken heart, and one day you will think of her with smiles instead of tears. Please accept my condolences and take care of yourself, thank you for your tribute to this wonderful little cat. RIP dear little one, you were loved and will not be forgotten!

Oh what a beautiful and loving tribute for such a sweet adorable cat. I am truly sorry for your loss of your Mickey. You made all the difference in that little kitties life. Mickey made have only been with you for a short time, but he was much loved during that time. He got the chance to be loved and cherished. He is now watching over you and smiling. He will be with you forever (in your heart). I hope he has met my Mickey and they are now playing together, free from pain. Take Care!!

Thank you for your kind words. I have lost cats in the past but never one so young, always from old age. I fell asleep on the couch yesterday afternoon and I was convinced Mickey was there too, lying on my feet on top of the blanket. But when I woke up and looked he wasn't there I think he was there in spirit though.
