I was wondering if anyone has tried the 4 Health from Tractor Supply. They have two varieties. I was looking to use it and mix it or feed it straight. I would use some purina naturals as it works to stretch the supply.

Here are the three varieties

Any input would be nice.

I would love to know this as well! For some reason I was thinking the tractor supply store only carried cheap unhealthy cat food. Interesting!

This is a new brand. They carry good quality dog food as well. My sister feeds her dogs it.

I used it fairly frequently, with good results. I think the Indoor is too high in fiber and the grain-free has too much fish so I always fed the all-life-stages formula. Canned food is better but it's not bad for a kibble.

Note: It's cheaper per-pound than Purina Naturals ;).

I just bought a 4lbs bag of the grain free. And since the store was out of the big bag I got the guy to give me the small bag for 2.50 off. So it was 5.50. I also stopped at Big lots and nitro natural choice duck and potato grain free for $4 for 3lbs. I also bought a couple small cans of wet nutro and two big cans of nutro max kitten. The cans were .50 which was a deal to me. We will try the 4 health tomorrow. My cat licked it but didn't really eat it. He might of been full as I had just gave him a small can of duck and something loaf.

Ya well. My cat will eat the naturals. I'm not sure though on the grain free. And that was my main concern. I try to give him one can of wet a week. Its expensive for me on a limited income.

I usually buy Halo or Wellness Core for my babies.  I'm very careful with their nutrition and always try to stay away from any food that has corn or corn gluten.  Cats digestive systems do not do well with corn.  Sweet potatoes, brown rice and other grains do not have the same 'bad' effects on most cats.  Older cats especially benefit from a 'corn' free or entirely 'grain' free diet.  All that being said, I've found that my cats love the much less expensive 4Health and it is a nice alternative.  I'm now on a lower fixed income and have to watch my budget carefully.  The Halo and Wellness brands are absolutely great products but are very, very expensive.  My cats have been spoiled with the best all of their lives.  Usually they will turn up their noses at any food that is not $$$, but they liked the 4Health dry food and had no digestive issues when they started eating it on a regular basis.  The only problem is, I live in a metropolitan area and have to drive almost an hour to get to the closest Tractor Supply.  I usually pick up a few big bags when I'm in their area.  This really is a very high quality food without the premium food price.

My kitties eat the 4Health canned grain free food. It is a very good food and very cost effective. (69 cents for 5.5 oz)

You can order from their website. @Crazy4Strays  mentioned 4Health in a thread I started about one of my cats that I recently found out has signs of kidney problems. The Tractor Supply closest to me is 20 miles away. But I have this in mind to give it a try if I don't find have luck finding a food he will eat at my local Petco.

My cats all eat it readily, the all stages kibble (purple stripe on bag). I keep it available all the time. It is reasonably priced, $22.99 for the large bag.

However, I CANNOT convince them that the canned is as tasty as Fancy Feast..[emoji]128533[/emoji]. They get canned once a day.
Hopefully the kibble will be their choice for a long time...such a pain to switch....
