Spooky just got spayed on Monday and I was wondering if a little clear discharge is normal? And what is considered lethargic behavior because she's sleeping a little longer than usual... should I be worried?

I've never had a cat spay with any discharge it's always been dry. The vet should have told you what's normal I think it's supposed to be dry. I'd just have the vet look at it to be safe. The lethargy is nornal after the spay because of the pain. Lethargy plus no appetite or fever is a different story. Is she eating? Can you tell if she is running a fever?

I usually feel the ears to check for fever. It sounds like her behavior is normal for a post spay. Is the wound flat? Or does it seem filled with fluid? It is supposed to be flat or look like the skin is gathered where it's stiched tight.

You can call in to the vet office, one of the techs will probably answer the phone.  If they don't know the answer they check w/ the vet.  I've done this a few times.  It is reassuring to know if you need to drop everything and get the pet in, or just take a wait and see approach.

As for the sleeping, every cat is different as is every human.  I had one cat, Vita, any time she had anesthesia, it took 24  hours for her to get back to normal (assuming she wasn't recovering from surgery, this was for dentals!).  I'd bring her home, she'd get in the MIDDLE of my bed, curl up, and sleep.   No food, no water, nothing.  Of course I'd have to move her at night, she would look at me groggily and go back to sleep.  24 hours, each and every time.  First 2 times it scared me and I had her back in to the vet, we soon learned this was how she reacted.  I've had 18 cats (over 25 years, not all at once, lol) and never had one like her.  So if you keep a file folder, you may want to make a note of her reaction so you know for in the future.
