Do you mean 16 weeks? At 16 months they're certainly old enough to spay & neuter. Many vets will do the spay/neuter at 4-5 months.

Some even do it as early as 8 weeks, but I wouldn't suggest that.

im trying to adopt them out because I cant afford to neuter and spay them and worm them as I care for many feral cats 7 at last count plus the indoor cats 5 so that's 12 plus the three kittens makes 15 im broke but im happy with them I wouldn't give up my home cats for nothing but the youngsters I can part with until I fall in love with em then I will probly keep em

If you can't pay for spraying and deworming, I would suggest also placing the 2 kittens that you plan on keeping. Even with just 1 cat you are responsible for them, this includes getting them sprayed, deworming them and giving them whatever care they need. If one gets into an accident and needs surgery, it'll cost you a lot. Make sure you can pay for it, because you never know what happens. Costs can get high, and if you can't pay for it, they won't get the help they need. You won't help them that way.
