Long story but I need to keep Soft Claws on my cat - I chose medium size for him as he is about 12 # last I knew.  All the pics I see of cats wearing these, you can actually see them on the cat.  I cannot see the tips on my cat ...do I need the larger size?  They seem to fit.  He has lost 2 tips in only a few days although one was a legitimate shed as there was sheath inside the tip - I think the other was faulty application.  It is extremely difficult applying these ...I will have to recruit some help.  He was a shelter a cat and apparently not accustomed to having his feet handled.  It is a major ordeal to put even one tip on ...I wish there was an easier solution.

ps:  I have searched the forum & read much on them

Can you get a picture of his paws with the soft claws on? We might be able to tell better how well they're fitting.

Is he short medium or long haired?  His paws look a bit fluffy in the pictures.  Maybe that's why the tips don't show?  I'm not familiar with them personally; it's just a thought.

He is longish haired ...I've seen pics of similar cats with the tips & they do show.  I'm fine with them not showing - just wasn't sure if that meant they were too small.  But with the lack of response, I've decided for myself they fit okay.  I guess not too many folks here are familiar with them.  Thanks!

If they were too small you would probably see the base of the claw uncovered, and they would be likely to pop off. Glad you figured it out on your own. Nice look. I've never seen sparkly ones.
