Water lover

Does anyone else have a cat that can't get enough water? One of our two cats drinks water non stop, from the toilet, from the bathtub, he licks the faucets, the humidier, condensation on the side of your drinking glass, the windows when the air conditioner is on, sinks, and so on. Is this a sign of something, maybe diet?

I would be concerned that the cat might be diabetic? I would also question the wisdom in letting your cat drink from the toilet bowl, and would keep the lid down as much as possible. You also might invest in a Drinkwell fountain for your cat.

We have been trying to keep the lids down, but company has the nasty habit of leaving them up. I have taken to putting several waterbowls down for him. We took him to the vet to check for diabetes, hopefully we will find out soon.
