I'll try that! I noticed someone else said they keep a lot in there. When I get back on my feet I'll try a difrerent brand, shes usually good about changes, except when I had to abruptly switch to newspaper/shredded paper, only time she ever peed on the bed that I know of, so I know it wasn't a UTI thank God! I heard Worlds Best and Sweat Scoop is good, so far using the clay clumping non-scented currently.

I'm amazed. All pet shops here deliver, even the supermarket does.
everything I buy for them is delivered. When I buy their clumping litter I buy three very big bags at a time. Oh and delivery is free.

You're lucky! Where I live there's only one pet store that delivers, and they have high prices and not much of a selection.

Its hard for me to get cat litter as its real heavy and I have to take it on the bus and then down a bunch of stairs. It seems like it runs out once a week, a container I buy in it, that is. I clean the box once a week completley. I use  a few inches up to the suggested amount, I use baking soda as well quite a bit, and I scoop out well, as I can't smell very well so want to make sure its not too bad for the cat. I use clumping, so idk why I use up so much. My cat poos about once a day, and pees anywhere from 3-5 times a day.Any suggestions?
Order a 40 lb box from amazon. so they can deliver it to your door.

sometimes the litter is even in a lower price.

Well, on the 10th, I had a box deliverd, and still using it, its a 25 lb box. I got too low today as the cat wouldn't go in it till I added more..there was twice as much as before, and I was worried about runnng out before I got more money. Thanks again for all the great advice! Merry Christmas to all!

Thanks guys for answering. It seems like I go through a new box a week, (last box was about 1.5 weeks ago, 25 lb. clumping) but I scoop it out everyday, several times a day, so I'm just wondering why it goes so fast. As far as I can tell, shes not haveing any problems peeing too much or too little, but I'm new to all of this. I only dump it all out when it gets low, like half an inch and full of small clumped bits. I've tried a variety of things, using less, using more, using baking soda(I use that anyways), topping off when scooping. Its just so heavy and expensive you know?
My advice is stop using the baking soda. The litter is made to clump, baking soda will reduce the clumping properties and is not good for the cat to breathe.

I have three cats, use Cat's Pride Naturals clumping litter (no perfumes, no dust). I go through two 25 pound jugs every 6 weeks.

I use paper disposable boxes, that I change out every 6 weeks. There are never any left over pieces when scooping pee clumps, the litter clumps firm enough.

I wonder if you need a better clumping litter, or a better method of scooping. What are you using to scoop?

Oh wow, didn't know that about the BS, I thought it cut down on the smell, I'll try that. She doesn't seem to like it anyways, I think it weirds her out when she pees on it and it fizzes haha...I made the mistake of not cleaning it out when it was real low, I usually clean it out to much because I don't put enough in. This time I had a lot more so just kept adding it, but it mixed with the nasty stuff too much and she only peed in it a few times today, a couple this morning and once this evening....I got a gift certificiate so lets hope my stupid rash doesn't look too horrible tomorrow...and there is the money on the card that it says....so many terms and conditions and scammers out there..my parents don't know about stuff like that very much...I always forget the name but its the big name brand scoop something or other, purple box? I'll look into that. Thanks!

I use Arm & Hammer nonscented clumping. I don't add BS or anything else. We scoop out the clumps about twice and day and rinse the boxes once a month. I agree that you are dumping/rinsing the boxes too often.
