Hello all you grand people of this charming kitty establishment! Happy Tuesday! :)

Do you make little wishes? If so, in what ways?

For example, making a wish after seeing a shooting star or after tossing a coin in a fountain/well, and so forth. Whether serious or just for fun, long tradition or a new habit!

I admit I still make a wish prior to blowing out birthday candles. And when I find a penny, as long as the tails is the one facing up. That one I was taught by my mom since I was tiny, so one of those small things that doesn't always get out of your system

I do make a wish when I blow out birthday candles.  And when I have the "wish bone" from a chicken, I'll let it dry a few days and make a wish and pull it.  (You are supposed to have 2 people for this one, but as I currently live alone . . . .).  Since moving to a city, I can barely see stars, let alone shooting stars; the down side of urban life.   A penny heads up, you get to wish and pick it up.  A penny tails down you leave in place, picking it up is bad luck.

I will "knock on wood" when I'm talking with someone and mention that such a thing hasn't happened.  Is that a wish?  Maybe that belongs in another category!

I make a wish when blowing out candles.  Of course this year was only one big 70 candle so that was easy to blow out and I did make a wish.

I haven't thought about it in a long time!  I always used to when blowing out birthday candles or tossing a penny in these fountains they had in the mall where I grew up.

My DD gets a huge kick out of finding coins on the ground; so those all go to her.

I always pick up pennies I find.   I learned:  "Find a penny, pick it up; all the day you'll have good luck!"
