Hi from PA!

Hi all!
New to the site and love the friendly tone here. My wife and I have both had cats all our lives and we currently share our home with 2 Bengals: Makena and Lilia. Both cats are rescues.

Makena is a large brown spotted male about 5 years old, highly intelligent and very bold. We take him for daily walks in the woods as well as to parks; he loves exploring new places. Sometimes we hike for hours. We taught him basic commands and he is a lot of fun to hike with. Makena does not care to be petted much during the day, but at bedtime he loves to cuddle up. Makena was very angry and aggressive when we first got him but with love and patience, he is now a gentle sweetheart.



Lilia is the opposite of Makena she is petite and very timid. Lilia is 8 years old, with a beautiful marble pattern that glitters and has soft fine fur. She must have had some bad experiences with men along the way, she was very nervous around me for a long time and preferred to be around my wife. She got over her fear of me and now loves to be carried around on my shoulder. We have had her a year and she is just settling in the past few months. Lilia loves to cuddle.  



Looking forward to making some new friends here, I hope to learn and contribute meaningfully to the forum. I never get tired of talking about cats!
