I need to find some software. I had one years ago that was decent & came with a printer. Paint isn't as fun i guess!

Hey, Mooch get on eBay and look for Paint Shop Pro. 7 is probably the best version. It's an older program, but still works on a Win 8 computer. I've had it for years and am still using it. It even has a small animation shop so you can do animated gifs. PSP goes all the way up to X, but 7 is probably the best version. You can get it for about $20.

I love PSP version 7.  That and version 8.1.  I stopped upgrading when Corel bought out JASC.  If you want a program to go to program heaven, let Corel take it over!  LOL  They took an excellent program that was rivaling Photoshop at one point, and surpassing them in some areas, and turned it into a watered down version of Corel Paint basically only good for photo touch ups.

And not only did Corel take a great software program and turn it into crap, they also bloated it beyond repair. It's so full of stuff now it's not even funny, just like everything associated with Corel. I love PSP 7 and still use it. That was when it was still Jasc.

I used to love CorelDraw; I think I stopped at 8 as it just got too bloated. Used to be one fine program at one time.

Pan have you not decorated your tree yet? :'(
Yes, we decorated the tree in the living room. Rick hung all the stockings yesterday afternoon and then he put up the Tacky White Tree last night (Rick opened the tree box and started taking out tree sections....Tabby immediately hopped right into the box and started chewing. There's something about the material that tree is made from that Tabby loves). We're having some issues with the strings of blue lights and he says it's time for new blue lights, so we're going to try to get some place tonight for them. Once it's decorated, I'll take some pictures.

Hi @Natalie_ca, I really like the idea of decorating this tree, in memory of your friend.  I used Windows Paint...and will try that other program you mentioned, though it may take me till next year to learn to cut and paste.  Your tree is amazing and made me smile.

Here is mine:

Aww; that's cute @cat nap  !  Hope was a sweet woman.  She was very talented with graphic design.  Back when the forum was on a different platform we could have graphics in our signatures. She (and others) made some amazing siggys for people!  I have mine saved.  I think Hope would like to see us carrying on this tradition.

Thanks @MoochNNoodles.
It actually was a lot of fun and not too difficult on Paint.  I know that everyone is pretty busy with last minute Christmas stuff, but afterwards, maybe you can find that 'siggy' and post it (as a jpeg)....so us new members can see it.

I found this thread with siggy's people made for others; http://www.thecatsite.com/t/89586/siggy-shower-completed-sigs. That thread has over 6,000 posts in it!!  Some images are gone; but others are there and really bring back some memories!

@cat nap  ; if you look at post 26 in that thread; that is one by Hope  I'm sure there are plenty more. Her username was HopeHacker.  I found some of my old siggy's but I don't remember who made them.
