Mine does. Here I am typing this thread while laying on a small pillow that belongs to a black furry 4 legged girl because she decided to sleep stretched out on MY pillow and I can't say no to her because she looks comfortable. oh well this is what I signed up for when I got her = ( lol

Mo is a huge hog. He just sprawls out and forces my boyfriend onto my side of the bed, so I'm boxed in against the wall by his legs. Kismet is a small hog, but because she is a small cat. She usually curls into a little ball and lies against me, and since I know she prefers sleeping on the towel, I'll put the towel half on/against my leg or stomach so she uses as little of my boyfriend's space as possible. Apparently some nights when my boyfriend comes to bed and the cats have made it there first, he has to play Tetris with his body to get in.

Ruby likes to be warm, so she sleeps under the covers with me during the cooler months. She comes to bed later than I do and sometimes she doesn't even wake me when she jumps up on the bed and slithers under the covers. Other nights she nudges my head and shoulder trying to get on her preferred side, which just happens to be *my* preferred side too.  Sometimes I give in and move over,  Other times I'm too comfy and won't move, so she ends up settling for the other side.

Yep. We have a king size bed but Ozzy is a big cat and sometimes it feels like he takes up the entire bed by himself.  And when Zoe decides to join us for the night, even though there's space everywhere. the ONLY place she can possibly get comfortable is on my pillow, right next to my face.

I and my husband also have a king size bed. Both Charvone and Sakura sleep on the bed with us, especially when it is cold. They curl up next to my husband first (he generates heat like he's a human furnace) until he goes to work very early in the morning, and then they lie next to/on top of me. Charvone prefers to lie behind knees (or smack dab in the middle of my side of the bed) and then spread out while Sakura is more polite and stays curled up against our backs or chests. She gets up and moves to a different spot if we shift or roll over. One morning, I woke up with only a sliver of bed and covers and saw that Charvone was on his back and all spread out in the middle of my side of the bed. Occasionally he'll sleep in the middle of the bed between me and my husband and push us both to the edges. It was a lot worse when we had a full size bed, though I never ended up on the floor.

My bed? That's odd. I thought couches, chairs and beds belonged to the cats and they just allowed us to use them sometimes.

After waking up a few times with my back wrenched from trying to sleep in a position that would not bother the cat (or cats,) I laid down the law. The cats know they can sleep curled up near my shoulder and if they get cold they can crawl under the covers and lay against my side for awhile.

My poor wife on the other hand....One will lay between her legs and the other will get beside her and stretch out - effectively leaving her no room and no way to move. Or they will both lay on top of her and she wakes up wondering why its hard to breathe.

Once we had a very bad storm with lots of lightning, wind and rain. The storm lasted a long time and both cats were very nervous. I laid on my side and let them stay agianst me under the covers for a few hours until they felt it was safe to come out. It was kind of funny - they both wanted to be with me. I guess they figured I was bigger so it must be safer to stay near me. As soon as the storm passed - they both went to "mommy" (my wife) to get comforted.

My Oliver used to sleep on my chest every night. Every morning for fourteen and a half years, I'd wake up only to have him sneeze right in my face. He was huge and hairy, and had a habit of sticking his paws in my eyes and mouth. I miss him awfully.

My cat is the exact same way, I sometimes wake up with an aching chest. Oliver is hogging dogs' beds up in rainbow bridge. I am sorry for you loss. What a precious cat [emoji]9829[/emoji]

Robin has been treated only with the best of care, and has little regard of space. He will stretch out and roll or slide off the bed or sofa safely assuming mama will be there to catch him. Does any one else's cat do this? He will stretch out on the back of the sofa and do a swan dive. I'm always afraid when he sleeps in a high dresser. Mikeal beriznachiv (pardon my mangling the name Lol) he is not!

Clyde sleeps on my head - or my husbands head if I am away with work (Bonnie sleeps on my computer chair she only ventures onto the bed occasionally)

We get licks at 6am - who needs alarm clocks !

Try waking up during the night because you can't move and then you look around and see that you have one cat laying by your legs and on the other side of the bed another cat is laying by your legs and at the end of the bed one is laying at the bottom of your feet and then you turn your head and you have another one with his big ol head laying on the pillow next to you staring at you unblinkingly.  Yeah, I got 4 bed hogs.  It's a good thing that the other two don't care about sleeping on the bed.  I'd end up on the floor!!

Mine can't seem to grasp the concept of sleeping on the same direction as the human. She ends up taking half of a queen size bed!! I have two others that are the most considerate though they sleep curled up on the corners.

I used to have three that did. One between my legs and one either side.
then I had two cata on one side and a large dog on the other side. The two I have now are not very affectionate to my dismay :'(

Connor, Romeo and Mowgli sleep on the bed most nights, and sometimes Catweazle or Xena snuggles up to me, but mostly when the other three have either left or are all on hubby's side of the bed. Quite often, I am unable to move because the have snuggled up so close the duvet is like a straightjacket.

Autumn doesn't exactly hog it but there are many times she is in the wrong place, she will sometimes fall asleep right where my legs end and I can't stretch them.  I will feel a bump and know it's her so I just curl up into a ball again.  After all, we can't bother them can we?
