mistaken gender...

So when this kitten was born, obviously nobody would know the gender. Some time later, i claimed this one kitten. Later, we thought it was a boy which is great, but we couldnt tell yet. Later(8wks) another party confirmed male, so we came back and never felt the need to check again. So we've been calling our kitten a baby boy. But we went to the vet today, and the vet says "oh! Hes a girl!, yep those are girl parts" we laughed and laughed. Our little Ash is now our little girl. Her name stays of course. She just needs a purple collar instead good thing i havent bought a boyish one already haha gender roles are funny

Yeah, to decide gender isnt easy.  Even decently experienced cat people have been known to take wrong.   Some small males had even come one day down with a couple of kittens...
