what are you doing with your cat for thanksgiving?

Are you going out of town? If so, what are you doing with your cat/kitten? Have you done this before? Ever had a problem?

Just curious. I'm going to be leaving Zero only overnight and will make sure everything's set for him. Plenty of food and water and clean litter etc.

But I will miss him madly...

Well to be honest - I have not gone away since I got my Loki. Have not been able to get over that hump yet. Silly isn't it??

We'll be sharing our dinner with them. A little turkey for me, a little for you, and you, and you....hey! where'd all the turkey go?

Same here. We have to keep Zero 150+ miles away to make sure he stays off the table that day!

We aren't going anywhere for Thanksgiving, but I have left Ryelee before. We wen't to Lake Powell for 3 days in September and I made sure she had lot's of food and several water dishes because she likes to spill hers, clean litter, and I left the tv on the animal planet for the whole time we were gone. She did just fine but boy was she happy when we came home. I haven't been gone since we have had Lovey in our lives so I am not sure what would happen with the "double trouble" without supervision

Me and Zero were watching The Fifth Element the other day. That's reminding me of the white cat of Bruce Willis in the beginning. "Don't watch it all day honey, it will rot your brain."

We're staying home again this year.

They're going to get a little amount of fresh home-cooked Turkey.

We stay here too and do the same thing what Sue does .We also share with our dogs . We have a feast day for all ..... for days we will feast and the animals

Oh I forgot , we also have to place the cats in differend rooms while eating or we will have them all on the table . I don't like my gravy with cat hair

Were going to Keith's parents house but the cats will
stay home but we'll be bringing them some turkey home

Just wanted to update that I just got home after a day and Zero was prefectly fine. He has been pooping out of the box, but luckily he didn't even do that!!

And I just fed him a little turkey and he really loved it!!!

I just got back after 4 days gone (the vet tech came out each day) and my babies had a field day! They opened up the kitchen cabinets and dumped all kinds of stuff on the floor, knocked all the papers off the dining room table, magazines off the coffee table, garbage cans knocked over.....but they are all the biggest snuggle bunnies you could imagine right now!

I'll have to make them a turkey next weekend and make it up to them.....
