Over the past couple of days something has appeared on my cats bottom lip im thinking it maybe a kind of mouth ulcer or Granuloma, i'm not 100% sure but i don't remember his lip being different colours its always been black. But this slightly inflamed flesh coloured area has appeared just below his left bottom tooth.

It doesn't seem to be bothering him at all, he is doing everything normally, even when touched it doesn't seem to be bothering him.

Here are some photos that i must say took me a while to get, his mouth has to be open to see it and as fellow cat owners might know cats hate having their mouths forced open, so theres are the best ive been able to get so far:

Thanks for any help.

It does look like it could be a "rodent ulcer" (EGC). Have you had him to the vet's? Our last cat was prone to them, and when he got a large one like that, the vet treated him with Depo Medrol (an anti-inflammatory corticosteroid injection). Jamie got fish oil for maintenance, which helped.
