My cat knocked down a glass and cut himself. Below is the picture:

I am working and the vet i go to is closed by 5.30. I will not make it on time. Another 2 days and i will be able to bring him to the vet. Meanwhile is there any suggestions on what i should do to make sure the wound heals and doesn't get infected. Any suggestion/advice is greatly appreciated.

I would say that a couple of stitches could close it up nicely but you might be past the time frame for that.  As soon as you can I'd call your vet and see if you are able to get some antibiotic ointment from them.  Not over the counter for humans as some of the pain relieving elements for humans can be toxic for cats.

We once had a cat that would frequently get bitten.  My mom would clean up the wound with some hydrogen peroxide and then apply some Neosporin (antibiotic ointment/cream).  The vet approved of this.

Since it looks to be on her leg, you might want to clean it pretty regularly.

The wound has a crust of blood.. Im quite afraid to touch it to inspect it in case i tear it or it starts bleeding. I couldnt find any Neosporin here, I guess they do not carry it in Malaysia. Any other suggestions?

Can you tell if there is any glass left in the skin?

When my cat had a minor cut, I used hydrogen peroxide only once the first time to disinfect, but did not use it again since it can also kill healthy tissue. I then followed up the next couple days cleaning it with a homemade gentle saline (1/4 teaspoon salt in 1 cup lukewarm purified water, stirred well until salt is fully dissolved, applied with a clean, soft cottonball) and Original Neosporin (I read not to use the one with pain relief). I did take a break from the Neosporin every now and again so that the cut could "air out" and not be continually wet. This helped it to dry up and scab over. It healed up fine and my vet was perfectly fine with what I was doing when I checked in with her.

If you cannot find Neosporin, you might look for generic bacitracin or neomycin / neomycin sulfate (ingredients in Neosporin).

It looks like the cut is on the cat's paw. You might have an issue with him trying to lick the ointment off.

Just make sure whatever antibiotic ointment you get does not have "pain reliever" in it. As long as the cut doesn't look infected (red, swollen, oozing pus) you might want to just keep it clean until you can get to the vet. Soak it in plain warm water, assuming your cat doesn't run away from water, and pat it dry with a soft cloth.

He runs fine and doesnt even flinch when i touch close to the wound. Im sure there is no glass. I sat down and looked at the wound and he doesnt seem to be in any pain. The wound area has a cover of crusts. I honestly do not know what to do... :(

Just wait the cat will heal. Or clean it out as suggested. It's not serious.
