Just going to put this here...

Not sure how long they will last, but as far as I know they have been active for a couple days.

Petsmart has free shipping for $50+ and free shipping on everything all day today (What's left of it).  Armarkat stuff is selling at a great price imo and you can add code HURRAY1114 for an extra $10 off. The code might work for other stuff too, not sure. I bought a 68" Ivory tree for $58 shipped to my door. Worth looking into.

Amazon also has them on sale if you prefer going that route.

I've been conflicted about the trees since my two cats seem to have plenty of fun climbing up chairs and dressers and other places.

But I've got some cash to burn so I picked up the 73" version. They are going to love this. I paid 75.59 total after taxes.

Those are great deals! I ordered 2. I have at least 1 tree in every room ( not the bathroom!). Periodically I rub some catnip on the trees. At the same time, I spritz the corners of the sofa with a mix of water and white vinegar. Keeps the cats scratching on THEIR furniture, not mine.

oh Canada~
Wow, what deals! Someday they'll spread the love to Canada and I'll be able to afford one or two.

Can anyone recommend one of those that are on sale?  I'm always so worried they may tip over, we won't nail them into the wall (old house, original plaster walls).

You can go on Armarkats website and get the exact models numbers (b6802, b6203 ect) and then read revievs on different sites. Some of the tree's with odd sized bases seem to wobble a bit more, I'de stick with something square. Wayfair and Amazon have a lot of reviews on them.

I bought the b6203 but  didn't like that the bottom 1/3 of the tree wasn't useful, too much empty space. I started browsing some more, once I found the b6802 for the same price I ordered that one and plan on returning the first to petsmart once it gets delivered.

I don't post/visit here very often but couldn't not tell the "Cat people" *Chuckle* Glad some of you took advantage of the deal!

I'm not sure which are on sale; but this is the one I have had for probably 8 years now: http://www.armarkat.com/classic-cat-tree-a6202/.  It's in great shape and only wobbles a bit when one of the girls does a running approach to it. They've lost a bit of weight; but at the heaviest Mooch was 15lb and Noodles 14.  They are good size cats in length/height too.  I am looking around for another tree so both girls will have a perch to escape to.  I just won't be buying till after Santa drops some cash my way.  (I hope!)

So I now have a 6'3" cat tree in my bedroom.

Here's a stock photo of what it looks like:

I have 2 cats. A mother and daughter.

The daughter, Puppy, LOVES the tree. The first hour, she had her mouth open the entire time she was climbing around it. When I was unboxing it, I did not want her in the room while building but she was excited and crying a lot outside the door.

The tree wobbles slightly but won't tip over when the cats start jumping around on the very top.

The dangling toys you see in the stock photo are rather pimped out. They are just the fuzz balls you see without the other objects underneath them.

The hammock on the bottom seems pretty useless. I might remove it if neither cat ever uses it within the next week. The cats might find the lower levels of tree more fun and interesting without the hammock.

I ordered two, but have only received one.

The notice I got was: "There is a delay in shipping your order.  We do not have an approximate date on when it will be shipped.  If it does not ship within 30 days the order will be cancelled."

The fact that they do not have a date when the order will be filled is a little disconcerting.  I hope they are not out of it completely.

On the bright side, the cats have been loving the one that we did get.

They were selling a lot of them. If you haven't received it yet I'd wait a bit, last I check they all shot back up $40-50 so it would be worth the wait.

Mine also came with a hammock my girls never used.  We used to put their toys in there.  Now it's just open.  I was looking at the same tree so I'm glad to hear it doesn't seem like it will tip.  I don't have room for another till the Christmas tree comes down; so I'm not rushing.

Eventually I disconnected the hammock - it's still there but draping like a curtain. And I also got rid of the rope that bolts on the bottom.

I now use that bottom space to keep the cat carrier. :)

Both of my cats love the tree and always 1) sleep on it and 2) play on it. When they play,  they are playing TAG at full speed running up and down the tree  or it's King of the Castle where one of them tries to defend their spot at the very top.

- Perhaps the best 75 dollars I've spent in years.
