Got 3 cats, 1 female, 2 males. All around a year old. Not siblings but best of friends since they were little kittens. The female got pregnant from one of the cats right before we got around to neutering them. She just gave birth to 5 adorable kittens today. I kept the 2 tom cats locked in the bathroom throughout the labor process. Now i don't know if it is safe to let them out.

I live in a small apartment so i can't keep them them separate. Only place i can keep them away is the bathroom and that obviously isnt the solution.

Can they be together? Is it safe? What can i do?

Thanks for any expertise in the matter guys!

It depends on!   As they are friends with mom, they shouldnt be dangerous for real.  Observe the first encounters and the first hours.

If mom allows them near (begin one at a time, begin with tthe friendliest of them), and nothing suspcious happens, you can them have access to mom and kittens permanently.  The chance is good they will act as extra help.  Or at least, as well wishing uncles.

But quite  a few adults dont understand what small kittens are.  some adult cats are afraid of small kittens.  And thus, may swipe at them.   Or, they play too vigorously too early.

That is essentially why you must supervise them the first hours at least, even if they are calm and mom allows them near.

Let them near definitely in some weeks, where it doesnt hurt them with some play.

If you try and notice its impossible to have them near, you can perhaps talk over some neigbour or friend to let them live there these few weeks?   Now when they are properly neutered, there shouldnt be any big troubles with having them "in furnitured apartment"   :)

Good luck!   @katocy
