A new cat drinking fountain
.  We inherited one when we got Jasper from the neighbors.  It was already a few years old.  We've had to replace the pump in it once, went on vacation and the person watching the animals let it run dry.  Well, I've now broken 2 parts off of the thing.  And I think it's leaking too.  When I bought a year's supply of filters from Amazon a few weeks ago, the basic Drinkwell fountain was an Amazon Lightning deal.  I got it for $20.  And yeah- this one is worth about $20

The good thing is that you can take the pump out and clean it, something you can't do with our current one.  I was going to give it to them now, but my husband thought that my college-age daughter would get a kick out of seeing something under the tree for the cats.

They will enjoy whatever boxes come in with presents.  They're already enjoying the Christmas tree
Both Holly and Sam have tried to climb it.  They chase each other around the tree, knocking over the ceramic villiage that MIL made.  And I don't want to put that away.............

Our two Bengals are pretty much spoiled all year. They deserve it too, they are terrific cats.

However - my wife hand up stockings for them and they get some small stuff each holiday

These are some pics from when we just had one Bengal (Makena) The John Deere stocking is for my wife - she loves tractors.

Makena figured out that the stocking was for him and when we were in the room he would paw at. He is well behaved enough that he would not just rip it down when we were out of the room. Even though he could smell the catnip...

On Christmas morning he patiently sat while I opened a toy for him

When the package was opened - he carefully took out the toy

We gave him one thing a day so it took a few days to empty the stocking.

We have very well behaved cats and they pretty much own my heart. Think I am going to go find him and give him a hug right now!

A friend of mine, who is a kitty blogger, sent my cats a holiday giftie!

I came home to find a fairly large box had been delivered.  Inside, was the gingerbread holiday house (it has a carboard scratcher for a floor) Target had for sale.  I had tried buying it to no avail.  Either I mentioned it in passing or she just guessed lucky.  The inside is on the small side, but perfect for Cocoa.  Casper probably won't be able to fit inside ROFL.  We've been too busy to put it together yet, this weekend we have a date to do so.

OMG I FINALLY SET UP THE NEW CAT MANSION!!!!!!!!!

Okay so I mentioned that we ordered two new scratching posts...but i was wrong...one of the scratching posts is better described as a CAT MANSION OMG it's huge. It's taller then the BF and he's 6'00''!!

Cat Mansion out of the box. Jet already likes it

Charlie started calling dibs on his hidey holes

Charlie on the old scratching post, next to the new GIANT cat mansion haha

All 3 cats are investigating (also they're looking for the bits of dry food we placed all over the new post to get them to explore it)

They have picked out their territories. Jet all the way at the top, Charlie in the cat hammock, and Gunther by the window

Jet looks so happy and content!!! breaks my heart that I can't reach her to pet her.lol

Charlie balled up in his hammock

Day 2, exploring more of the cat mansion, you can't see Gunther but he's behind the stairs on this behemoth.

Charlie by the window

and Jet in the kitty club house (poking her cute head out)

Jet poking her head out and cooing for pets. My baby :)

These cats are so spoiled. hahah.

Catlandia! Just kidding! :D Florida!

I'm entering a giveaway- a cat giveaway- so hopefully I can win Bruno a toy mouse or something. I've got a back-up plan, though. I'll make him something.

So what are you getting your kitty for Christmas? (Do you do that Secret Santa thing? I'm new to the forum, hehehe...)

Ritz was trapped (along with her sister and brothers; lived outside, survived a 20" snow storm) the day after Christmas.
The Best Christmas Present Ever.
Long story short, I adopted her a month later, never having been around cats before except when I was helping my friend socialize the litter.
So.... I celebrate her gottcha-date around Christmas too and of course a month later for her adoption date. It will be our fifth anniversary this year.
I've bought her new toys and fed her special food (I fed prey model raw, so rabbit or once a year shrimp), but she ignored both the new toy (she's picky) and ignored the shrimp.
I fed prey model raw. For this year I did buy her a chicken head (she loved the one I gave her about six months ago) and also have a turkey head; I'll probably give her the chicken head the day after Christmas.
And of course I'll give her as many hugs and pets as she will tolerate and sweet talk to her.

I got this kind of fish for my cats:
http://www.msc.org/where-to-buy/pro...sproduct-EFF6A176-1359-41EF-BA42-9484F8FBE07A

It is their Christmas special. Going to heat it in microwave and use fork to smash it small, as that is how they like it best, there is plenty of it for all 5 of them to last for whole holidays as it is just added treat over normal feeding routine.

They get very demanding when they see the package, when they get a scent they get very vocal and start rubbing their heads against me quite strongly, when microwave goes ping it is hard to get door open as there is living sea of fur at front of it making all sort of noises :D

Could not afford much else for them this Christmas, maybe next one I can make new castle for them.

@JTbo   I don't think you need to worry about how much you are giving your kitties because it sounds like you know exactly what they love, and the fish sounds spot on!

I love the sound of that "sea or fur".

@Lamiatron  That cat manion looks spectacular and your kitties seem to have moved right in without any qualms.  How lucky they are to have such a great space, and love that Charlie and co' still steel your poor dog's bed!

i got my 3 cats new collars with bells on it. I cannot wait to put them on them. With all 3 of them running around with a bell on their collar its going to be "jingle bells" all the time at my house. I made sure to get them "break a way" collars for safety. that way if they ever got caught by there collar it snaps open easily.

My cats dont play much, one never uses the cat tree either, I buy them expensive canned food all year and give them treats of orijen red, and plenty of love, heck one has his own bedroom. They both have monogrammed breakaway collars and one with a bell. Everyday is Christmas for them. Big lots has $1 cat breakaway collars with bells, I stock up when I go in. I might go check out pet beds after Xmas too, they have good prices on them also.

Funny! Me and my husband were shopping at Pet Smart yesterday and the cashier said, oh getting all your cats their Christmas Presents?  We laughed and said no this is their everyday stuff.  Maybe they have Christmas everyday! My husband made cat shelves and I made covers that I can remove and wash for the shelves.

Many sites say that fish is not so good for cats, but there seem to be lot of debate about that one. I would give them more of it if I could afford though, it is great for increasing moisture intake as I can add bit of water before heating up and all the water will have nice fishy flavor when I smash the fish, it is bit like soup and they love to 'drink' it down.

My cats have actually own house, I live in small room that is in sauna building other side of yard, while they roam in all of the rooms of house :D

You all have some very lucky kitties, for them to have "xmas everyday"!

Actually, I think anyone loving and caring enough to take in pets and properly take care of them...has very lucky kitties/pets :)

I'm the type to go to petsmart for food and litter and end up walking out with a bunch of goodies for the cats, every time...however recently (for the past 6-7 months) financially things have been tough. having to move twice, and other unexpected emergency expenses...I haven't had a chance to do anything for my babies...especially since we found Gunther. We've just been getting food and litter and food and litter. We were in need of a multi cat scratching post desperately..and some other things too. I'm happy that during black friday and cyber monday i was able to stock up and get some things for my babies. They deserve it. The amount of happiness they bring into my life...is priceless. Even Gunther, who i feel like kinda forced himself into my life and decided to stay hahahaha
