Can anyone help with a second opinion, please...
The first one is mine. I know, the correct answer: "take cat to the vet". But allow me to explain;
We have 7 (seven) cats and two dogs, curently. When both my wife and I had jobs, we took them to regular check-ups, etc.
Now my wife is un-employed (after 8 years company went out of business) and I am on disability.
One of our cats, a recent rescue, (they are all rescues and all neuterred) developped some skin problem that first we thought it was mange. It is not, that we rulled out. But we don't know exactly what it is.
We had cats all our lives, and in my opinion it looks like miliary dermatitiss. But I am not sure, therefore I ask anyone for a second opinion.
I attached the pictures to see Foozy (cat) and what the skin/ fur looks like. Also what the clumps of fur he looses.
Anyone? Ideeas?
Thank you

Is he an outdoor cat?

From what I can tell, the primary culprit for miliary dermatitis is fleas.  Besides some topical meds to help with the rash, you may need to do a thorough flea purge (including all the cats).  Having lived in the PacNW, I understand this will most likely be a bit of a challenge.  Hopefully the cooler winter weather will actually be a boon for the endeavor.

I used to have a cat who was allergic to flea bites and would look exactly like that. Getting rid of the fleas was the only way to treat it.

I have a semi feral cat who looks like that and she is allergic to flea bites. Because she is feral and most of the time I can't touch her I am not able to flea treat her on a regular basis. When I have been able to flea treat her it clears up.

Yep!! This is just what I see as well, fleas are the culprit here.

Typical look, more raggedy at the tail area, I can even see flea poop in pic 4.

I am going to send you a message.
