That is a beautiful British shorthair ;)

I think this cat is a solid lilac color, but they do come in nearly every other color and pattern too.

AniCou he looks to me like a scottish fold! Although scottish folds are known for the folded ears, they are usually straight eared. They have a very distinct owl look because of their big eyes and round face. It could very well be a British short hair but look up scottish folds in case. My favorite cat to follow on instagram is @rokuthecat who is a scottish fold. Hope this helps!

You are probably thinking on Scottish straight.   This is a sister breed to scottish folds, and used to interbred the folds with.    As fold x fold kills the fetuses, as the ear mutation gene is lethal in double portion..

Similiarity with British is no coincidence.  The british is often used in the breeding programmes of both these scottish variations.

And thus, it can be said to be their sibling breed it too.
