Pregnant or not?? HELP!!!

Okay, last week, a stray kitty adopted me. I let her into my home, fed her, bathed her and just gave her a warm plave to sleep. I still have her. Anyway, the first day she stayed with us, she had a few bulges in her belly and her nipples were red. A few days later, the bulges were more defined. Then, they started getting smaller. Today, it's like they were never there at all. She gets upset when you try to touch her belly and she eats a lot!! ANy advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Is the area around her nipples do they look worn down like a kitten has recently been suckling them? If so, you need to let her outside as she probably has kittens nearby. If the nipples are just red, and she is bulgy feeling, take her to the vet. It's a good idea to take her in anyway to get checked over. The vet will tell you if she is pregnant or not. If she has been living outside for any length of time, chances are strong she is pregnant or she has kittens waiting for her.
