finally friends!

I was so concerned about adopting a 2 yr old female and how things would fare with my 7 yr old female (who was the youngest of 3 previously and very dominating).  After a couple weeks of interaction she, Nina, has finally accepted the new comer, Sky

They chase each other around a lot and play fight.  Nina clearly is the hierarchy here, but Sky doesn't seem to be phased by. She is a real busy body always investigating things and I think she has made Nina more active and playful. at the end of the day they are pretty content with each others company

That's wonderful! It's not easy bringing two cats together, it must be so rewarding to see them curled up together like this!

Awe so sweet

You must be very relieved. Darling photo of the new friends. I am in the process of introducing a new cat to my 3 cats and 1 dog. We adopted Beauty yesterday. She spent most of the day under my daughter's bed. We are keeping her in daughter's bedroom during the slow introduction process. I am going to bring out the tunnel that Beauty slept in last night so the other cats can investigate her scent.
