Any advice would be appreciated.   I realized back on November 9 that my cat has fleas.   I have no idea how she got them because she's an indoor cat and has not even been around any other animals, but she has them.   I immediately treated her with Frontline.   There were still fleas on her a day or two later so I gave her a capstar pill.   Some dead/dying fleas did drop off of her.   A couple of days later I saw another live one.   I gave her another capstar. I have found a few fleas around the house, just one here and there, and since then she has had a total of 6 capstar tablets.   I wanted to be sure that anything live on her was being taken care of.   Over the past couple of days i have seen one or two dying ones falling off of her.  She had the 6th capstar pill yesterday and tonight I saw two or three dead/dying ones laying around wherre she had been sitting.    What should I do?   I have steam cleaned and vaccuumed thoroughly and washed all the bedding, bagged up stuffed animals, etc.   I know it's good that they are dying when they drop off of her, how long should it be before she's clear?  Could it be that they are ones she was carrying around from before that hatched and are now dying because of the frontline and capstar?  I am so grossed out right now.

Get you some mule team borax and spread it all over your carpet including areas underneath the couth. It will kill any and all feas garantted. You can make a solution of water and borax and wash your cat just don't get it inside the ears. After washing rince thoroughly. That should ride your home of flees on your pet and house or apartment. Its perfectly safe for pets and non poisonous.I discovered this home remedy a couple of years ago when we had a bad flea infestation.

Thank you for the suggestion.    How exactly do you use the borax?  I have read a bunch of different things, from sweeping it into the carpet, to leaving it for a day or two, etc.   I've also read that you shouldn't have the cat in the room before you vaccuum it up.    What did you do?   I'm interested in trying this, the cat has had 2 doses of Frontliner and I am still occasionally seeing a flea or 2 drop off of her.
