I noticed when I adopted Charlie that the pads of his feet were a little chapped and dry. At our vet visit a week ago, he said the he probably came in contact with something that irritated him and that it should clear up with a good diet. I am feeding him Nutro natural care with a tbsp. of vita gravy on top. Does anyone know of anything topical that I can put on his feet?

I guess I could use a little vaseline.

Thanks in advance!

Mineral oil would be better than the vaseline, as vaseline is petroleum based.

Tried Veggie Oil on Loki once. Boy did I get the cold shoulder - can't blame him actually since I did make him smell like a salad

I use Vitimin E oil on a scar I have. My dog has licked it many times and no ill effects.

A pet store might have a something, too.
