Oh boy!
Chocolate chips filled with caramel? Chocolate chips filled with peanut butter?
I am making cookies with the caramel-filled ones now. Rick ate one, looked at me, and smiled. I guess they met with his approval. I know they met with mine! Yum! First time in a long time I've used the Nestle recipe for chocolate chip cookies, but they're pretty good.

The only thing I found wrong is that they come in 1-1/2 cup sizes instead of the normal 2 cup (12 oz.) packages of regular baking chips. And for what you get, they're a bit more expensive. At least I think so. You use the same recipe as with Nestle chocolate chips, but with only 1-1/2 cups of the filled morsels. That just didn't seem fair to me, so I went ahead and added 1/2 cup of my regular chocolate chips (Ghirardelli)  to the mix.

Ooooh....I've been craving chocolate chip cookies too!!  I usually add some raisins to mine.  In the past I've done half chocolate half peanut butter chips.  Our DD has a mild peanut allergy so I can't do that anymore.

I believe the recipe I use is from Martha Stewart.  Someone from TCS passed it on to me after talking about them.  The recipe uses sour cream and pudding mix.
I love soft cookies!  Certain kinds should be crunchy; but any like this I like nice and soft!

If I didn't have to make a bajillion pies this week I'd probably pick up the ingredients when I do my shopping this weekend.

I have seen the advertisement for them but I hadn't tried them.  Caramel and peanut butter sounds good, I don't think I would care for the mint or cherry ones in cookies.  I usually make oatmeal chocolate chip, I think those would be good with either the caramel or peanut butter ones.

Oooh, chocolate chips filled with peanut butter sound delicious! I bet I can't find them here, but I'll look. The regular chocolate ones are hard to come by in Germany.

I looked at them in the store last night.  I think I'd try the chocolate cherry ones in some kind of chocolate cookie.  The mint ones caught my eye too!

Hmmmm..... I'm tempted to try one of these in my chocolate chip cookie recipe instead of the Ghiradelli I nomally use. I'm concerned there woudl be anarchy in my family though. :lol3:

Well, I used the caramel ones in my chocolate chip recipe and then threw in some regular chips to make up the difference. They were good cookies and everybody seemed to like them. Still have to use the peanut butter ones in something.
