When I brush my 6 month old short haired kittens fur it doesn't stop coming, I could seriously brush until my bathroom floor is covered with fur, it’s like she can magically reproduce the fur as soon as I remove it. Do I just need to keep brushing until it stops and keep it up weekly or is that too much.

I’m also having a problem with her tracking litter into my apartment every time she uses the litter box. I hate stepping on it in the morning and cleaning the floor every time I hear her go. Does any have any idea of what I should do for this?

Do you already have a mat outside the litter box? There are mats that are designed to trap litter.

Yes, you can brush daily. Just don't use too much pressure on the brush, since you're not trying to pull out fur:)

If you're going to brush that often, I'd stay away from the Furminator, because you might wind up causing irritation. Remember that cat skin is much thinner than our skin.

You can also try giving a bath. During the bath and blow dry, a lot of fur will be loosened and will come off.

I bathe my short haired cat every few months. I brush her several times a week, but I use a Love Glove or other gentle tool, not anything that could scratch her skin.
