...since Heather has been out of town and I've been working a lot of overtime. He's so used to having someone here almost all day so he's so happy to see me come home which I love! He also just purrs and responds to pettings more than usual, and when I started this, he was even on my lap! He's been no lap cat up to this point!

I hope he doesn't revert TOO much when he gets all his attention back. Do you think he's a little codependant?

There's no place like home
Ours get very snuggly on nights when we both go into the office during the day. Between the 2 of us, we are usually home 4-5 days a week with them and they are less snuggly at night when we are with them all day. Of course at least 1 or 2 lay on our arms when try to type on our laptops.

Yup, it sounds like he's codependent (or at least having a little separation anxiety).

Zero is an adorable baby by the way - I love the pic of him leaping mid-air.

W/ the best cats
I think he is just telling you how much he loves you!

People who don't know cats always say that cats are cold and uncaring because they don't react like dogs do when greeting their owners.I used to have dogs and I find no difference in the show of affection. Of course, my kitties don't jump on me or slobber all over my face, but they always come running to me when I get home and I am expected to pet each of them before I reach the door or I end up tripping because of the kitty barricade!
