Craig got laid off!

They at least gave him a severence package so we'll be okay for a bit. I just enrolled in college and have to dish out money for that and my job sucks and I can't work full time and do school full time unless I wanna flunk.

It it's not one thing it's another.

On top of being laid off on Friday. We're flying to Texas on Thanksgiving day. Say bye bye to $600. One of my precious boys has a urinary problem and has to see a vet. My car has an oil leak, a burnt out head light, needs new shocks, and the locks on the door are broken, and it also needs reverse lights fixed.

When it rains it pours and I'm sick of the RAIN! I want some sunshine for a while please.

What a horrible time for something like this to happen, not that any time is a good time. I wish I could send you some sunshine. I hope that things turn around really soon for you.

The company my sister works for will be gone in about 6 months, but she's been given the chance to save it. If they do the job right their unit will remain in place, if they don't they've all lost their jobs. The problem she's having is that she's had to fire 2 people for not doing their job and she had to lay off 1 person because he didn't have the knowledge to do the job right yet. She told the person she laid off that if they save the unit he's welcome back, the other 2 were jerks and complained about being assigned to the unit.

She's just hoping she can save the unit. About 50 jobs depend on her management.

Cassie, I'm sorry to hear about Craig getting laid off. It never comes at a good time, but this close to the holidays especially sucks.
At least he got a severance package, that's one good thing. I'll be keeping both of you, and Ericka's sister, in my thoughts.

I hope Craig can find something, even if it is temporary, very soon.

One thing, and I know it isn't the best, but retailers may still be hiring for the Christmas season - if he needs something for right now.
